Individual Therapy
Individual therapy (also referred to as counseling or psychotherapy) involves a professional one-on-one relationship that focuses on the struggles of the individual. It involves understanding the unique life circumstances of the client and is geared toward helping the individual to clarify, prioritize, and, when appropriate, modify or change their environment. In addition to a confidential setting, therapists create a safe, caring atmosphere in which clients can work through concerns or be spurred on to continued personal growth.
